JMA (Junior Mission for All)

Young people working together to help others all over the world.

JMA logoJMA (Junior Mission for All) is a mission for young people. It began over 150 years ago for young people to collect money each month from friends and family for mission work.

Where does the money go?

Of the money raised, 20% goes to projects in this country and 80 % overseas. The Methodist church has partner churches in over 50 countries worldwide and the money raised helps to support their work. Mission projects are very varied including building and staffing schools, helping street children in India and South America, supporting aids programmes in Africa. It also responds to disasters such as earthquakes, flooding, and famine anywhere it can help people.

Giving young people a sense of achievement

Each year we present badges and certificates to all our collectors.  This helps reinforce the justifiable sense of pride they get from helping others, and not in a small way either!

  • For 2010/2011 We raised  £1127.06p
  • This is a record amount for Court Hey a fantastic effort by everyone

Please continue to support JMA in your prayers and giving and make a difference!

A prayer

A child at a JMA supported mission Creator of us all,
We know you love all your children.
We ask you to help us show that love in your world.
Help us to learn, pray and serve,
With the world-wide Church,
So that everyone can feel the warmth of your love,
And no one feels lost.
Amen.
