European Methodist Festival 2012

Why not join the expected 1,000 Methodists from across Europe who will be flocking to the 3rd European Methodist Festival to be held in Krakow, Poland over 4 days from 8th to 12th August 2012. The festival is designed to enrich us as United Methodist Christians from different European countries and strengthen our faith.

Attendees will meet in workshops and seminars, take part in sports and games, listen and learn from one another, sing and play, celebrate Jesus and confess their faith in the midst of the city of Krakow. There will even be a sightseeing trip or two laid on.
 
Krakow.jpgYes, I know Poland is a long way to go but with no fewer than three airlines operating flights direct from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Krakow, it's easier to than you might think to get there and the prices for accomodation, meals and festival admittance are very very reasonable.
 
Accomodation and meals are provided. There are 3 different prices for everything. A standard rate starting at 200 euros full board (adult rate for the whole 4 days), a more expensive "sponsoring" rate that includes a bit extra to help subsidise those who can't afford the standard rate, and a lower "sponsored" rate, courtesy of those paying the "sponsoring" rate. It's entirely up to you which you choose to pay. How Methodist is that?
 
Or if you prefer to camp, there will be a "tent city" for festival attendees a short distance away.
